"transport logistic 2013": German Federal Minister of Transport interested in TimoCom's innovative strength
With up to 2,000 exhibitors from 65 countries the "transport logistic" impressively demonstrated its significance as the most important industry trade fair. More than 53,000 trade visitors made it a visitors record and exhibitors happy. TimoCom also benefited from the interest of the crowds – there was hardly a quiet minute for the staff at the stand.
Great interest in universal tracking solution
At the "transport logistic" the company offered a diverse topical mix. The new TC eMap® which was presented to the wider public for the first time was examined with particular care. It is a 3-in-1 solution for the transport industry. With the integrated route planner customers can calculate the route to the corresponding destination directly from within the market-leading European freight and vehicle exchange TC Truck&Cargo®. At the same time they can also calculate trip costs and additional costs in TC eMap®. However, the highlight of the product is its tracking solution via which customers can view all conventional telematics systems in one single platform.
Important visitor at TimoCom's trade fair stand
Leading up to the trade fair the manufacturer-independent tracking solution had already received positive feedback from the European media. For the launch of TC eMap® Peter Ramsauer, Federal Minister of Transport, himself was on the spot to get a first impression of the innovation. While talking to Marcel Frings, TimoCom's Chief Representative, the minister showed great interest in TimoCom and its innovative products.
TimoCom as "One-for-All" provider
With its three online platforms for the spot market, the contract market and all types of warehousing space, the Dusseldorf-based company covers the full range of procurement possibilities for the transport industry. Given the full package including the new TC eMap® one thing became obvious at the “transport logistic 2013”: those who want to be efficient, save time and costs in the transport and logistics industry, do not need anything else but TimoCom.
